Chapter 1 The beginning.

This is the story of a girl named Lilly Kiore. Lilly's life takes a turn when she is trapped in a mysterious world with her friend. Will this change in her life be for the better or the worse? There's only one way to find out. We now follow the journey of Lilly Kiore and her friend.

Our story begins In London, England. The sun setting slowly beneath the horizon. From her bedroom, Lilly watches as the sun sets into the horizon. The night was upon them but Lilly had learned to love the night. She thought it was the most beautiful thing that the world held. The beautiful white snow blanket the ground, a view Lilly also enjoyed.. It was a peaceful evening, until her mothers voice broke through the silence from downstairs. Lilly sighed shutting her window, walking out of her room and downstairs.
“Yes, mother? You called?” Lilly asked, her tone showing a bit of annoyance.
“Your father and I are going out to a party. Please watch the house in our absence.” Her mother said, her British accent making every word loud and clear. Lilly groaned but did not want to sound rude in front of her mother. “Yes, mother.” Lilly replied, her tone showing she was still annoyed. Her mother smiled before reaching up and hugging her. Lilly stood on the steps as her mother turned around, preparing to leave with her husband, Lilly's father. Before completely turning around, she looked back at Lilly. “Please do not forget to cook dinner for everyone. That means your brother as well.” Her mother stopped talking, before Lilly's father spoke in a stern voice. “You may have one friend over, do I make myself clear?" Lilly respectably bowed and spoke "Yes, father." After both her parents left through the front door, they boarded a carriage, riding off into the night.

Lilly sighed watching her mother and father leave her at home to babysit her brothers. Lilly went over to the front door, closing it and then locking it before heading back up to her room. It was dark outside and a full moon floated in the sky. Lilly slowly walked over to her window, re-opening it, to hear howling of the wolves living in the nearby forest. Lilly had wished for her mother and father to not leave so that she would be allowed to take a midnight stroll. A light cold breeze blew past her window, sending a chill down her spine. Lilly stood up, walking over to her closet grabbing a jacket. Lilly put on the jacket before sitting beside the window once again. It was now winter, white snow covered the ground, the midnight air cold . Even so, Lilly couldn’t help but stare at the night sky. An hour passed before her brothers came charging into her room, leaping onto her.
“Make us food!!!” They yelled. They're hungry...Lilly thought as she lifted her youngest brother off of her. The boys grabbed her hands, pulling her out of her room, down the hallway, down the stairs and into the kitchen.
“Okay boys, what would you like for dinner?” Lilly asked, her tone distant. “SEAFOOD!” her brothers yelled. Their voices echoed in the kitchen set up for a professional cook. “Okay.” Lilly said, nodding at her brothers.
“I’ll call you when dinner is ready.” She said. Upon her words, Lilly's brothers raced off into the living room to play.

As Lilly prepared to make dinner, she picked up the phone and dialled her friend, Sora. As she waited for Sora to pick up, Lilly continued cooking. As she was cooking, a maid had entered the kitchen. The maid smiled, before bowing. When the maid finished bowing, she spoke.
“Ma’am, are there any dirty towels in need of cleaning?” The maid looked around before looking back at Lilly. Lilly shook her head before the maid bowed and left. Lilly went back to cooking before someone on the other end picked up.
“Hello?” a women's voice answered. Lilly was a bit startled because she had not been paying attention.
“Hello, Is this Sora?” Lilly asked, her voice sweet and sincere.
“No, this is her mother speaking. Is this Lilly?” she asked.
“Yes, Hello Mrs. Inori. May I please speak to Sora? I apologize for calling so late, but I was wondering if Sora could get permission to sleep over at my house.” Lilly said, her voice anxious.
“That is fine with me. I'll go get Sora right now. Please hold for a minute.” Her voice was soft and smooth but also cheerful.
“Thank you.” Lilly replied as she waited for Sora to come to the phone. As Lilly waited, she continued cooking. After a little while, Sora came to the phone and spoke. "Hi, Lilly." Sora replied.
"Hey Sora, I was wondering if you would like to sleep over at my house tonight." Lilly asked.
"I'd love to. Give me a sec as I pack my things." she replied.
"Sure." Lilly said. As she waited, Lilly continued cooking finishing the meal. "Jack! Jason!" Lilly yelled as she set up the table for 4 people. Once the table was neatly set, she put all the food on the table and waited. She heard Sora come back.
“Okay Lilly. I’ll be there in about five minutes. I’m walking over right now.” Sora said with delight in her voice.
“Okay. See you soon.” Lilly said as she finished everything. She then softly hung up the phone and set it in her pocket. As she walked back into the kitchen, the boys came charging downstairs with smiles on their faces. Lilly turned around to see them running straight for her. She quickly moved out of the way and let them stop on their own.
“You guys need to calm down. Sora’s coming over and I don’t want her thinking you guys are totally uncivilized.” She said irritably. Jack stumbled a bit when he heard Sora’s name.
“S...s...Sora’s coming over?” He asked. His voice a bit shaky. For some reason, Jack had a fascination about Sora. Lilly had no idea what it was about her that made him so nervous.
“Yes. Sora is coming over. And I want you guys to behave. No more running around like maniacs.” Lilly said with a stern voice. She knew not that Jack would behave. But not so sure about Jason. She just sighed and walked back to the table with them. The boys sat down. Right when Lilly was about to seat herself, the door bell rang. She pushed her chair back in and walked to the door. Her hand reached for the door knob, turning it once she got a grip on it. She slowly opened the door. The door was all the way open and on the other side, was her friend Sora with her stuff.
